foreign advisor screen problem

i just encountered this.

the game i'm playing has 15 other civs but the foreign advisor screen will display only the other 7. sure I can click the D on the right side of the infobox but how do I find out MPP, ROP, Alliances, etc... from the other 8 civs(among themselves or with the 7 civs above)? is there some hidden function i haven't heard that pops up the other 8 on the advisor screen?

for example I made contact with the Zulus but they're not on the foreign advisor screen. the only way i could contact them is rightclicking one of their units or clicking the D on the right side of the info box. other than that i know of no other way. anyone?

User interface sucks.

But in this case as I recall if you keep the cursor over somebody's head, hold down SHFT, and click (right?) the other civs will show up in a little box. Click on the civ you want and it replaces the head you were using. I do all this so naturally and intuitively I can hardly remember the exact procedure!

Yes - shift and right click is the combination you need!

Pain in the bum tho' be nice if there was a simpler way !

thanks. didn't know that

I agree. WHY hasn't Firaxis fixed that? They don't even bother to tell you how to move the pictures around to call up different civs. With 12 civs it's almost impossible to know whether your target civ has an MPP. The foreign advisor screen is pathetic and I have never heard Firaxis saying that they were going to fix it.
It was obviously designed for a max of 8 Civs and is completely inadequate for more than 8 Civs. And Firaxis can't be bothered to have an info button telling people how to switch civs around.

murewa: plaese check the FAQ for stuff like this before you post a new thread. It is in the sticky threads at the top of page one.
If you do not find a usefull answer in the first ten posts of it, post the question there and you'll usually have an answer within a day at the most. Promise! :)
