Hi, all. :)

I noticed in the editor that Fortresses give a 50 percent bonus to defense values, and that bonus can be modified.

However, I cannot seem to locate any hard data in the editor on barricades other than the fact that they grant a 100 percent defensive bonus (according to the civilopedia). Is there someplace in the editor that states this value, or is it hard-coded?

Barricades
Extensions to existing fortifications that create a Zone of
Control. Barricades double the defensive bonuses of
Fortresses and also stop any unit from being able to move past the
barricades until the next turn. You must have a fortification
in place to build a barricade.

This is from the Conquests manual.

Sorry, it doesn't double movement cost, it is stop any unit from being able to move past the
barricades until the next turn.
Great for slowing down those with 2 or 3 movement.

And I forgot ZOC as well.

Double whatever defense is set for the fortress.

Ah ha! That's what I was looking for, the:

Code:
stop any unit from being able to move past the
barricades until the next turn

Thank you, Goldfool! I thought I was beginning to lose my mind, because I was certain that I read somewhere it did that.
