Do I have to get serious here?!? Well smurf!!!

A. O. C. is Applealtion Origine Controllee (sp), roughly translating to controling name/label of origine.
which is the name each of the regulated wine growng districts (these are more specific that braoder regions like Bordeaux or Burgandy).

Examples opf A.O.C. would be Paullac, Chablis, Reims, Anjou, Nuits St George, etc.

I do not recall Robert Parker, but I assume he must some some of wine writer or tout.

And by the way I do have Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin (Brut, NV) in my refrigerator.

Bust open that bottle, Lefty, you got number 10. Robert Parker is a world class wine critic, known as the "million dollar nose".

Martinique is the other half of #8. Good job everyone.:goodjob:

If someone else would like to ask qustion(s), please do!

In 1796, two important things happened in the life of Napoleon Bonaparte. What were they?
Married Josephine, the love of his life (and the hypocrit would cheat on her ever after, and her on him), and he was appointed commander of the Army of Italy, leaving his command of the army of the interior.
He would show a bunch of old Austrian farts what the Sans coullettes could do when propery led. ;)

Next question, in the same vane, from the 1796 campaign.
Who were Napoleon's best two generals in this campagne, whom many thought should command over old boney?

Joubert who join the Atmy of Italy a little later would also be in this category.

You hit it the first time, Lefty!

Your up. ;)
