Freezing on meeting new civ

I have restarted the game multiple times and every time I meet my first civ the UI disappears. I am able to move around on the map, but can't do any actions.

Are you playing with any mods?

I have the same problem since the last update (Nubia).
No mod (I have reinstalled Civ6)
