Frozen Worldbuilder

I have a problem with my Worldbuilder and I was hoping someone could help me.

When starting Civ V SDK and choosing Worlbuilder it freezes, I only see the backdrop.
There are no buttons or menu's, etc.
the strange thing is that it workes fine 2 days ago, but suddenly it failed.

I already re-installed SDK but that had no effect.

I searched on the steam technical help, someone there had the same problem, but there was no reaction to his thread.

I hope someone has had this problem and can fix it.

I get exactly the same problem. Installed SDK, select Worldbuilder and I just get the spash screen and nothing else happens.
