MAC OS 10 is actually quite good... and it runs on a much faster and more stable underlying platform, BSD. You can run about any Linux/Unix GUI with it.

The CEO of GM wrote back and said the following:
If the car industry moved as fast as the computer industry:
PC cars would travel 4 times as slow, consume twice the gas, be sold for a third the price, break down every month, and Mac cars would only be allowed on 5% of the roads.
