Ah, so you deliberately named your people a profanity? Har har yuk yuk. I'm sure a 10 year old would get a good laugh from that. :rolleyes:

Nope, just vanilla 1.52. Some kind of script error occured during the game and well, that;s how the name came out.

My Herat does the exact same thing. It looks like a bug from a typo error in the code.

It says "TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_HERAT" on both the main screen and on Cyrus's diplomacy screen in the list of all of Persia's cities.

lol if thats out of vanilla thats funny... That only happens when the ppl who made the Civilization messes up one of the linking texts for city discriptions... whether its in the CivilizationInfos.xml or one of the TEXT xmls that the description is stored in :)
 
I did some investigation and it seems that the HERAT entry is missing from the file CIV4GameTextInfos_Cities.xml file. I didn't verify, but it seems that for every entry in CIV4CivilizatioInfos.xml there needs to be an entry in CIV4GameTextInfos_Cities.xml.

lol that goes for every Discription and Unit name in the game... Every single one of them has a TXT_KEY_ pointer in all the XML... Its done that way so that they can do multi-lingual support alot easier :P

Even though they are ignoring the bacon in the corner, I would put money on the lions. None of the archers look like they are aiming in the right direction.

Wow, exact same thing happened to me in GOTM2 as well. When attacking a town, my cats were heaving the bolders backwards and they came around the world. Here is a screenshot, I caught the rock after it had circumvented the world. Notice how the cat is no longer on top of the stack, it takes the rock quite a bit of time to go around.

By the way, when I noticed this happening (it repeated for several cats in my stack), I did a save. I pulled this screencap from the save game, so it is repeatable. In my case, the town was right on the edge of the screen.
