What patch was this with? Shouldn't happen after version 1.61 was installed.

No, it's not an arena.
This is what happens when you build the Great Wall when your empire has 13 cities and there's a little "hole" in the middle, not within your cultural borders. That was all I got - nothing round the true borders.

It looks more like a desert hippodrome...I'll take the one Ben Hur's driving :)

 I assume you're on an island, why did you build the Great Wall?

Why, to keep the giant ape Kong contained, of course! :p

Just look out for a guy named Carl Denham... :goodjob:

you cant fool me, you went in to the xml and switched around the image files:nono:

Im afraid that its the graphic bug which is fooling you instead.

I reported each of them to Forum Bug Center: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=4574951&postcount=346 on the same old post. Check them out and don't tell me that ive done all of those craps.

And... also available to this thread, since it was funny for me and my friends.

oops, i probably should have asked instead of accused:blush:

but that looks like what happen, because all you would have to do IS switch around some image files Sorry for my mistake

I understand you. Infact, it looked very bizzare, unbelievable and funny at the same time. I don't even mind if people don't believe me.

It was a very funny, strange graphic bug that messed with the images and caused the game to put them in a wrong place which made my friends and I launghing for a long time.:D

This happened while i was playing (especially when opening diplomacy window) then i had to save screenshot and close the current game which was an occasion for me to come to the forum and post them.

Despite that i shutted down Norton Antivirus 2005 and Norton Firewall 2005 include Spyware Doctor, this still happen and the windows virtual memory was very low. Sometimes, i also had to restart the computer to flush the memory. The game was also very slow, consuming too much memory.

Anyway, it was funny. hehehee!:D

PS: I use Sony Vaio with Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 with Windows XP Media Center Edition. It is a very fast computer designed for any entertainment.

(1) I believe that an "arena" derives its name from the Spanish (or Latin ??) word for "sand", the original flooring and what is definitely used in this case.
(2) The game in question was set up with near-maximum cheating and I built the Wall (a) because I could, (b) in the vain hope of getting a truly tremendous wall, and (c) to keep out the barbarians who do not exist in this game.

what i meant was, how could you be able to build 13 cities and the Gw without one of the AI building it first
