In this game I had no contact at all with Toku who was on the other side of my continent, except the first "I don't like you" contact as usual. And suddenly, this pops on my screen :



Man, I've almost had an heart attack. Toku proposing me a defense pact ! It was like I was seeing Isabella converting to my religion or Monty not attacking me.

Took me a moment to remember I was running Mercantilism at this stage of the game.
