Mooooo Cra Chirp Fssss Miaouw is a game of words
I see a lot of videos of people saying AI gen infra-frames aren't real, that FPS doesn't change etc etc on one side.
On the other there are Nvidia and now also AMD is putting out AI chipsets with IGPU integrated that runs Cyberpunk at 60 Fps with Ray tracing at 4K....
So clearly, or rather, pretty unclearly, there must be something behind this technology that as one, I, for sure, do not completely grasp...
Because infra-frame generation has been part of the CGI industry from its inception, in 1976 or something, it was already used for skipping
infra-frame cartoon animators...
But now it's predicting frames in between our live controls... and could be counter-intuitive... but it seems that, on another perspective, the AI now is
playing the game for me... what is the point of gaming if you don't have control over your moves??
A turn based game in a sense it's much easier to accept it, as you make your decisions prior to end your turn, and then the AI makes all the moves...
or rather... infra-frames all the moves... so... less calculations on the raw CPU decisions to interpolate the GPU command means now it has more
freedom to make smarter moves???
Would disabling AI frame-gen in this near future gobble up the CPU side of game coding because everything will more merrily dependant from each other?
It's a complicated topic and 99% of youtubers out there have never done one line of coding in their life...
So... I'll leave it here... I don't have the necessary know-how to get a clear depiction of what's going on and what we should or could expect...
Good luck to all future readers.
