Future Techs you guys have gotten

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted for awhile so don't get me if this has already been posted. Has anyone gotten any future techs and if so which have you gotten? The farthest I've ever gotten in a game is Industrial and I'd just like to know since I don't think I'm going to get any future techs for a while They sound really cool though.

Future techs aren't really anything 'cool'. They just give extra points...

When you actually get to them you don't receive some future technology, you literally receive:

"Future Tech 1"
and then "Future Tech 2", etc...

There is no benefit in any way - no new units, abilities, improvements, etc... They are just points for scientific advancement and nothing else.

I think civnewcomer means the techs like integrated defence and smart weapons which have some semi-futuristic ones (like laser artillery, sdi and spaceship)
