While the general Hall of Fame is an ongoing competition, we like to run time-definite competitions between updates that we call Gauntlets. Standard Hall of Fame rules (*) still apply, but any games meeting the settings will be counted towards the Gauntlet.
(*) Please read the >> HOF rules << BEFORE playing!

Settings:

Difficulty: Emperor
Map Size: Standard
Map Type: Arborea

Leader: Zulu (Shaka)
Opponents: Any
Version: SV8
Date: 1st to 31st January 2024
The earliest finish date wins, with score as a tiebreaker.

Anybody try this?

It is so hard to get a decent start on Arborea!!! I tried a couple "early conquest" games with the Zulus when I had nearby vulnerable civs in the early game, but happiness and slow science at Emperor level soon made it clear that was a bad call.

I am in the middle of a halfway decent game... may try to finish it by the deadline

I did not notice that I mistakenly left the Speed setting as "Any" until just now. @zenmaster, guess you could have played this at "Any" speed, and STILL :) !

Surpised no one else tried this, if this is the Tiny King Venice gauntlet thread. . A Tiny Map game never feels onerous!
