While the general Hall of Fame is an ongoing competition, we like to run time-definite competitions between updates that we call Gauntlets. Standard Hall of Fame rules (*) still apply, but any games meeting the settings will be counted towards the Gauntlet.
(*) Please read the >> HOF rules << BEFORE playing!

@Blake00 @The_J

all depends how early to pp to trigger WC
having some peaceful cash worthy opponents helps
portugal russia gandhi etc...
did a few runs quite happy with the gameplay

I just did my opponents random.....am about 1500 AD.....we shall see. These AI Civs build Wonders like kids eat candy. Yet, somehow I am leading in tech and managed to build Forbidden Palace.

Won't be too early on vote guessing though. Don't trust myself warring on King. I usually play Warlord. I can manage Prince, but again, don't like the Wonder spamming and settler spamming ways of AI sometimes. So I stick to Warlord. So I'll take any win. Would help if can get religion voted in WC, but have doubts on that one. And don't want to rock the boat too much:)

Think that's my first ever King victory in Civ 5....just submitted 1968/Turn 254. Had a nice corner with room for 6 cities. Really no issues. No wars, and as game wore on, had a firm hold on C/S loving me.

Pretty calm game, all in all.

Very nice!

Peaceful victory makes sense with diplomacy, for sure ☮️

I agree. Inland Sea is nice, and Nebuchadnezzar really helps speed your technology research along.
Great gauntlet! Thank you @aafritz17 !!

@dinanipedro Did you go peaceful or warlike? I chose war :c5war:

i have been going the peace route tech up fast to un vote
however the small map does make sense to get rid of some opponents early

will do one like this now ;)
