Galli of Cybele

In the greco-roman world missionaries and clerics for the cult of Cybele were called galli. They were transvestite eunuchs. I've been considering to make a unit for PAE for this. I've made cultists (CEOs) for other mystery cults before, but this is rather different. Below has a roman funerary plaque of a galli. As you can see he's a man in a roman lady's dress, kinda ugly. In the smaller box in top left corner is Cybele and tiny consort Attis.

On right is a unit i've been fooling with. Derived from female bahai missionary by saibotlieh. Has face of buddhist missionary. Has boobs and bustle of the dress flattened. Holds tymapanon (hand drum) which cybele people ran around with at their frolics (where men got revved-up to castrate themselves). This one doesn't look so much like galli as i hoped, but it's an ugly man in a dress.

Give me your opinion if you'd want to see something like this in a mod. I'm undecided.

Hi mardonius! I really appreciate all the art you've been creating for antiquity. I'm fascinated by the Ancient Mediterranean (especially Ancient Anatolia and the 'Near East'), and I will gladly incorporate your work into my mod. In fact, I've got some Phrygians who are getting pretty 'revved-up' at the thought of having a representative for their Mountain Mama! Thank you!

I have some others: mithras cultist, bacchae, egyptian scribe, hellenist, isis girl with sistrum in her hand, trainee gladiator w/wooden sword... with other units people have made already to form a set.
Gender activists make a big deal of obscure instances of such things, but i dunno if it's good in a game.

Those all sound great! I've been working with a small team the past few years to convert and rig assets and create a wider selection of units, buildings, and citysets, ranging from Prehistory to Medieval.
