Playing the game solidly the other day and doing quite well I might add! when game crashed on me
Needless to say I wasn't a happy bunny as I hadn't saved the game for ages, and didn't really want to go back years. Anyway when the game crashed I had just finished researching all the technologies, the last one being Future Tech when I had a message about RAM come up in a blue box (it wasn't the blue screen of death, but a blue box within the game), I clicked OK, and it appeared again, clicked OK again and it returned to the desktop leaving me very frustrated indeed 
I thought these problems would have been ironed out with the Warlords expansion, but hence no. I am growing increasingly frustrated with this game as I before this crash I was enjoying the game immensely, but now I am asking myself is it worth starting a new game if it is going to crash on me again? I was playing as the Vikings.
btw my setup is:
2.6gig AMD Athlon
1.5gb of RAM
Nvidia 6600GT Graphics card with latest drivers
200gb Hard Drive
So I don't really see this as being the problem. All my other games run perfectly, this is the first time I've had a game crash on me in aaaaaaaaagggees.
Are there any plans for a new patch for the expansion?
Is this a known problem or am I the only one to experience this problem?
Would it be worthwhile uninstalling the whole game, the re-install Civ 4 followed by the expansion pack, as before installing Warlords I did patch Civ 4 to 1.61 (?)
