These are the steps:
1)I start a new match;
2)I play normally, also having trades with AI: this means i can look at opponent's face correctly;
3)Suddenly, when I'm playing, the game crashes and returns to win XP, telling "Failed to allocate video memory. Please try reducing your graphics settings.
File:\Source\main\Civilization4\SDKs\Gamebryo2_0\C oreLibs\NiDX9RenderedTextureData.cpp, Line:177" or something similar!
This happens when AI opens a trade window with me. Infact, if i reload the game at the last autosave point, the trade window appears and i'm able to play until a new crash!!!
4)When i close this advice, another little window tells me "abnormal program termination".
2B)Some units like spearman, great general and others are shown completely gray on my display!
Here there are my laptop specifications: Intel p4 2600, ati radeon mobility 9000, 512 mb ram, 60 gb hard disk. I'm actually playing with low graphic details and i have all the directx and video drivers installed correctly.
The strangest thing is that i've never had any trouble like this when playing civ4 or civ4 warlords....
