Game crashes while loading... WTH?

my comp.
AMD Athlon 2500+
512 mb RAM
GF MX440
Windows 2003.

I'm just clicking at "Civilization 4" icon, than I see "Loading" picture fot about 1/10 sec and than game terminates :| (without any error message)

Installation process runs ok, without any complications.

I'd installed directx9.0c, included with civ4.
I'd tried with anti-blaxx and sd4hide.
I'd tried trick connected with ati cards (I know that GF MX440 isn't ATI, but).

HELP pleaseee... :|
