Game Dosen't Work After Patch

I am , I am about to burn the CDs.

I just downloaded the patch and now, the game does not start...

ANY ONE OUT THERE..... PLEASE HELP!



The game was working fine minutes before the patch, so it's not the system.
all I get is the initial splash screen for 4 or 5 seconds and then nothing.

Does it give you any errors? What are your system specs? Anything else that might be useful in determining what your problem is? you'll get much better/faster response if you are a bit more specific.

Are you using mods? The first time i put 1.09 on I was heavily modded and crashed at about same spot but with an error message...
