Game events logging?

Can the main events of game, players and AIs, somehow be logged?

I would be interested examining after game what did AI do. What did it research in civics and techs, what civics it used, what did it build etc etc.

If logging is not possible, is there a way to get glimpse of AIs status through some (cheat) mod for example. Viee AIs tech tree for example. At ens of game this could be also interestimg.
 
There is some logging, but you have to understand what everything means, or have a way to view it in a reasonable way.

I use it for the AI mod work.

I am also interested in creating a mod to view things easier in autoplays that the ai is doing. I am not sure when I will have the time, and effort to do that, but it's on the list of things to do.

The intention is to increase dramatically the information available and displayed.

I have a mod for setting options in AppOptions.txt and UserOptions.txt. Would you mind explaining what options you use in there and how you use them. Like it isn't real clear what AIMasterLogging means, as opposed to what? Is it really just verbose, not verbose?

What would you want to see from it? Like is there certain useful info/certain useless stuff that should be filtered. Or does it need to be aggregated so you can follow the actions of one player/behaviorTree
