I have read other threads about freezing but can't find anything related. I have been playing fine for about a month, but suddenly every time I start Civ IV it will just freeze and require rebooting after about 30 secs to 1 min. I have not done anything to my laptop before this started, no graphical changes, etc.
I have reinstalled 3 times to no avail (keeping my saved games)
It is irrelevant what I am doing in the game, it just freezes after so long, be it the main menu, loading a game, in game, even did it while I was trying to download the 1.52 patch.
I have this patch now but doesn't help at all.
Please help, I can't play this game anymore. Thanks
