Game shuts down before patch update is finished

Hey i guess im new to this Civ 4 stuff but everytime im in multiplayer mode it says i need to download the latest patch 1.52 or somthin so when i click install it gets to about 30% and then the game just shuts down and takes me back to my desktop without any error message or anything

Can anyone help me with this?


These are my specs and i know i could run Civ4 on my Pc

Dell 600 XPS
2.6ghz dual core processor
256 mb nvidia geforce 7200
2.0 gb ram 4 dimms
140 gb western digital hard drive

Download it online and update. The patch might fix this.
