Heh, I already own the thing, I like it more than the others for these reasons:
1: been out longer=more games
2: backward compatibility with PS1 games
3: I like the games
4: Something most dont seem to know about, it is very, very upgradable, if you install the extra stuff that they have come up with...(hard drive for one thing, then there is the standard mouse, keyboard, maby a computer screen) Its like an X-box, just a bit slower and with worse graphics.(not by much though!)the only problem with this is that the hard drive is only out in Japan for the most part, coming in Canada in a few months. Aaaand there is the expence, but it seems well worth it. The PS2 is a personal computer just waiting to happen.
5: The GB has uh, more 'kiddy' games than the other two systems. No offence, I just dont like them.
