From what I just experienced, I have fairly conclusive evidence that the AI civs think alike in that they are out to gang up on the human player. Well, for one thing, we've all experienced the fact that the AI civs rarely fight amongst each other until late in the game, even when they are right on top of each other. Also in the game I just gave up on, I was playing as the Americans on warlord. I was on a huge supercontinent surrounded by the romans, egyptians, and french. I was doing pretty well, the initial land grab got me about a quarter of the continent. Suddenly the egyptians demanded a territory map and a negligible amount of gold. I refused, and I was suprised they declared war over that. That's not all, the egyptians managed to get military alliances with both the french, and the romans against me...both of which I was having no problems with. Suddenly I was attacked on 3 fronts. This is clear evidence that the AI was out to gang up on the human player. Do you all think I was being ganged up b/c I was the human player, or could there be another explanation?
