What's the difference between the We're sorry/get over it/you'll pay for this in time options for responding to diplo interactions with the AI??

Does telling someone to "get over it" if you for example allied a city state an AI was previously allied with give you more of a diplo hit then if you told them "we're sorry this has caused a divide between us?? Or are these responses just for flavor? Never really worked that one out...

Not sure about those. There doesn't seem to be any reason not to say "we're sorry" every time, since you're not promising anything.

There appears to be no difference between the two options; it's more of a "role-playing" thing.

Hence, I always choose "You will pay for this." :D

For city state bullying it does make a difference. If you give in to the bully, you'll lose 20 influence with the city state and your pledge to protect as well. If you chose "You'll pay for this, get a minor diplo hit.

Yes; and if you take the Patronage influence SP and pledge to protect, you can pretty much guarantee that one or more AI civs will suddenly start CS bullying!

Yea, it only seems to make a difference with CS. If you say you`re sorry you please the Civ, but lose influence with the CS. In this case I might tell a Civ to `Get over it` if I really need the City State with me which can cause war.

I like roleplaying, so always like to say `We`re sorry to cause this divide` to Civs. I only say `Get over it` when I think a Civ deserves it.

Yeah I had a feeling there was no difference between the two choices (except with the city state bullying thing) which is a bit of a pity... Would be nice I think if there was some small difference depending on the response you give.
