Getting the game...

So, I got a question. Would I get the game in my grubby hands faster if I preordered, or if I got to a software store the day it was released. I was just thinking I might not get the game on the day it came out if I preordered, because it might get tripped up in the mail system. So, thoughts?!?!

P.S. I must be civ IV slave as soon as possible . Resistance is futile!

every game I have ever pre ordered I have recieved on the release day. I have always ordered through Gamestop.com or EBgames.com.

Please, fellow fans, help me out...
I am a "poor" Hungarian and it seems I am neglected... I looked at amazon, gamestop, etc and yet I was not able to find a place where they would ship THE GAME to Hungary, to me...

Can anyone show me a site, place, solution in this regard...?

It would be of great help...
