GG emergence

Can somebody please tell me how the threshholds for GG emergence are decided ? In my last few games, the first GG always comes when 30XP have been accumulated, but the next can be at 60, 75, or 90 and the third at 90 (if the second came at 60), 120 or 135.
All these games were at Monarch level, standard size map, pangaea, normal speed, and with the same leader (Roosevelt); other leaders sometimes selected, sometimes random.

I Play normal speed, and GG emergence is on 30/60/90/120....I would guess it would continue in this pattern, but I have never received a 5th. I have never had anything different then these (like at 75).

The 135 is from an Epic-speed game, most likely - I believe that is the threshold there (where almost everything is 50% more costly) for the third GG (90*1.5). Otherwise in normal speed it should be 30, 60, 90, 120, etc., as noted above.

Are you playing a mod? Because for Normal it should be 30/60/90/120. I have heard of one other person stating them as 30/45/60/75/90 but I have never seen it. Could that rate be quick speed?

No mods: all Normal speed, as I said in the opening post.
Tried a screenshot, but the GG status is only shown on a pop-up by mousing over the GG-bar and this does not come out on a screenshot. But please believe me when I say that my second GG in my current game will emerge when 75 XPs have accumulated, my first having taken the usual 30 - plus the free one from Fascism.

Hmmm. Maybe the one from Fascism alters the counter a bit. May seem a little over the top, but if you want to get on top of this, maybe playing a pure war game with the intent on getting GG's pre Fascism and see if the second one is 60 rather than 75. In the game, make sure you get the free Fascism GG too and see if the scale changes. Maybe getting the one from Fascism screws up the scale (intentionally or unintentionally). Interesting. I do know from looking at the SDK code that the number of GG's (obviously) has an effect on the next threshold, so it could be conceivable to think that getting a free GG might alter the counter which alters the scale. Just a rather big guess right now though. It'll be cool if that were a legitemate gameplay bonus.

edit: Nup. Didn't work. I simulated it in the WorldBuilder by giving myself almost all the techs (before industrial) and then teching to Fascism while clocking up xp. The scale didn't change after I got the free GG. So it went from 30/60 while going for 60 I got the free GG from Fascism. It stayed at 60. Then I clocked up the xp and the next threshold was 90. Anyone see any flaws with this logic?

Sorry for what might be a stupid question (I just got warlords and haven't figured this out yet), but is there a counter somewhere for the experience so far (so you know how close you are) or do you just have to add it up as you go?

Its on the bottom right of the military adviser screen.

My counter-bar is at bottom LEFT of the MA screen. Mouse over it to see progress and next target - which is still 75, but I'm getting close to it. Wonder what the next step will be ?

My mistake...I meant to say left.

Not Imperialistic. Always Roosevelt, industrious and organised. Anyway, there'd be little point in an imperialistic leader getting double GG points if the target steps were also doubled - and 75 isn't double-anything.

Was the Great Wall built? Because that will give you double GG points for any combat that happens inside your cultural borders.

I just played a Normal Speed, Noble Game with Victoria (Imperialistic).
You need 30 more experience for each General.

30/60/90/120/150

Imperialistic is great for Generals, as you get double points. (or you can say half the "production" cost.

Normal Leaders need 450 experience points for 5 Generals.
Imperialistic Leaders get then 7 Generals. And have already 60 of the 270 experience for their 8th.

Yes, I have the Great Wall. But (a) no stinking foreigner ever dares to set foot, wheel or tread on my land, so no fighting within my borders, and (b) my question is not about how many GG points I am getting, but why am I getting different threshholds for successive GGs in different games with the same set-up parameters.

I got 5 Generals in one game. But one of them came from Fascism.
The counter is at 6 at the moment (as Mali + Great Wall), but I'm still
collecting GG points. Great General number 7 requires 210 points at epic speed.
Fascism hasn't been researched by anyone.
