Gods and Kings in LAN game

Apologies if this has been asked before but I did a search and couldn't find the answer.

I'm setting up a LAN game at home for myself and four friends. One of the guys has the "Gods and Kings" expansion pack, while the others don't.

Will we all be able to play in the same game?

If not, do we all need to buy the expansion, or is there a way the one guy can "turn his off"?

It's perfectly possible for the host to simply disable Gods and Kings in the allowed DLC check box section of the settings.

You'll all be playing vanilla.
