Hi all,

First time attempting to post a screenshot so bear with me :) I've added it as an attachment?

Ramkhamhaeng appears to be getting quite the considerable gold per turn in my first Brave New World game. Please tell me this is a bug. Its only 1150AD!

They are making over 10K per turn! How can I compete with that??

Hey dshirk, if you still would like such a save, I've encountered this as well in my game.

Ramesses is currently shown to be making 852 gold per turn. They currently have over 5k stored as well, which is far more than they or anyone else has had at any one time as well, making me curious as to whether it's truly only the display that is bugged.

Anyway, I have a file set aside just to hold on to if you're still interested.

Small update: There's plenty of evidence that Ramesses is absolutely making it rain. He's buying tons of military units and there's also some very apparent land purchasing.

Edit #2: Venice is at a nice, healthy, whopping -767 gold per turn. It also seems rather real, but it's harder to tell.

I just saw this bug in my latest Brave New World game. I go to trade with Ethiopia and they're making 9k per turn in the Renaissance. Even worse, I figure what the heck... let's see what he'll give me for my extra crabs.

He gives me 9k per turn. 8-0

So, I keep making the 9k, and he goes to 0 gold. Next turn, he's at minus 9k/turn.
But I keep raking in cash. I can now literally purchase everything.

Yeah post the saves if you got them.

It happened in my game as well as Nebuchadnezzar started having 6208 gold per turn. (he had over 200K in bank) so I quicky checked all the other civs and found out that Napoleon had around -6200 per turn. Which made me think that they had a pretty unfair deal going on :p The surprising thing is that Napoleon was not suffering any problems as i can see he still had an army and stuff (I thought negative gold should force you to disband units or buildings somehow).
I will look for a save and attach it when I get home. (not playing with the beta)

Tell me this is with the beta patch, so I won't have to worry about my own games getting this screwed up

haha this is great

This game is completely hooped by all the extra gold flying around.

The gold seems to actually exist for the AI as they are purchasing a lot of research agreements.
