I'm always experiencing broken golden age points.

Such as "Using a single nuclear submarine to eliminate a warrior corp" grants you 1 golden age point for "using weak units to fight against strong"

However this is nonsense, since a single nuclear submarine is still much better than a warrior corp and nothing related to "despite being outnumbered"

Also this golden age point is awarded every time you do this. This is annoying.

Yep, the worst offender is the GDR. It's always one unit, and in the endgame you always fight corps/armies. The same goes for the airplanes. I definitely think it should be disabled for units that can't form corps/armies (GDR/air units).

It's the repeatability of it that's really outrageous.

I can actually see a historical moment when technological superiority triumphs over conventional forces and sheer numbers. It's just historic once though.

Dispite being outnumbered, our GDR fight for his honor, finally after mass struggle, he defeats a warrior corp. Let's celebrate this historical moment.:crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye:

Made for a great movie: the last samurai.

FXS said GDRs were meant to be like "Walking Wonders".

So why can you build so many? Why can more than one Civ build them? And why do you get one for free??

GDRs would be a lot more cool if they were a lot more rare and a lot harder to build.

The other thing that's quite silly is that we have GDRs - which, hey, are cool but are total fantasy - but we don't have actually technology we're have and or are likely to have very shortly - including drone deployed ordinance and cyber-warfare and kinentic bombardment (another reason for people to read Anathem by N Stephenson).

I guess this is all stuff for a 3XP and Ideologies etc.

There are even barbarian GDRs.
