GOTM for French players

I can't run GOTM21 on my French version, so I'm starting a thread that could be used (if allowed) to update information about it each month (as each month requires changes in text files, units...). Anyone knows about GOTM21 for us ? LeSphinx ? cracker ?

For this GOTM21, I used the GOTM21 add-on pack and I think I made things properly, but of course it failed.

Please, help me ! I can help to test things too...

Please help me! I first only need the answer to this question : did I do wrong (therefore the game is available for us) or do I have to wait for a fix ?

I think there was an extra file you had to download, but I'm not too sure, because, well, I'm not french .

Read through the download pages, it might be there.

@ Gingerbread Man : No, I think you don't get it at all... It seems I have to wait for a fix every time I install something new regarding the rules of the game, ie. at least every month with GOTM.

This month, I haven't seen any fix so far, so I must say that I may not be able to play GOTM21. Unless someone knows how to make my French version completely compatible with the US one. This asks to change lots of lines in text files and some more, but I quite don't know. And this may not solve my problem, if I have to fix things each time (but maybe not, once I made the base game compatible ? (because all I download comes from English-speaking sources)).

Maybe I should ask Firaxis at last, as they created the problem. I can't imagine that they let local versions incompatible one with another, while promoting multiplayer experience so much... This really is stupid. I just can play non-modded games, it displays text in both French and English, which is a bit irritating, but so far I could bear it.

I think I asked too much here about this these last months. I must fix it for ever. I'm gonna ask them to solve this for the C3C shipping.

Sorry, I'm quite laughing, but no offense there. Yes, it's a good idea, but I've been in touch with cracker for several months now. The thing is, I may be the only one here with this problem, and it's quite annoying a lot of people, so I've just started to find a way to go by myself. Thanks anyway for your interest, and I hope I will be able to play GOTM21 on time.

No offense taken I would laugh too in that situation. Must be very annoying for you. I might make one more suggestion though, which might make you laugh more (or cry), why not buy the English version. Actually I think it would be morally ok if you got the no-cd crack english version. Then again I'm sure you have thought of this too.

Seems you're reading in my thoughts. That's roughly what I was thinking of when I said "I've just started to find a way to go by myself".
OK : to this stupid situation :
Now for the need to find other ways of doing (shhh, someone is listening, don't say THE word) :

EDIT : Oh, BTW, I will surely NOT buy the US version. Why would I pay a lot of money for this Firaxis stupidity ? Wouldn't it be normal if they sent me the US version for free instead ?
