Many people in the Civ3 world say that the best way to cripple the AI is to sell them technology for as much GPT as possible. However, I find it that every time I try to sell some blasted AI some bloody technology, the bloody idiot never accepts my GPT demands. I'm not talking about something outrageous like 100 GPT, I'm talking about levels as low as 2 GPT. What the bloody heck!? I even offer several techs, and still the AI won't accept them for even 2 GPT, they will only accept lump sums. Can anyone tell me what to do and make them pay up?

You've already crippled them (or the tech is just too cheap). Their income is very low. Try higher levels and the ai has a much more stronger economy, thus paying a whole lot more gpt for techs.

yea the ai will never except gpt if it has a negative economy alrdy and if they don;t make that much a turn. besides u want gold now not later if u wnana kick that ai's civ's ass. A good thing to do tough is early on make them lose all thier gold tru tradingt techs so they have 0 gold thus restricting thier research powers.

Is this early in the game? You will find that the AI trades best under republic or democracy. And the gpt goes up in time. I'm sure that 100 gpt deals will be possible in the industrial age.

once they hit late mddle ages, when their banks are built, there people are fairly represented, and the judicial system is in place, the AI has loads of cash for you. I find this true even on warlord!
