Graphics flickers

Hey, I am new to this site and I need some assistance and help, I have Civilization 4 complete package, all the expansions, it's a great game but one problem is that the game just keeps flickering and other weird screen problems, how do I sort it out, i'm running it on my laptop and these are the specs it has:

OS: Windows Vista Home Basic Service Pack 2
CPU: Intel Celeron dual core processor (1.73GHz)
RAM: 1GB RAM
DirectX: DirectX 10
Graphics Card: SiS Mirage 3 Graphics

I think thats all you guys need really so can anyone help?
