Is it possible to make a great general that has a combat strength and can fight? I am currently fooling around with making a unique unit replacement for the great general and just giving it a combat strength. Is it a promotion that makes the great general buff nearby units? Also, I'd be very interested in making a great general that can, at the very least, improve its buff or provide different buffs.
Can this be done?
Edit : So apparently, that wasn't very hard. You can get a fighting great general by simply starting with a base unit that can fight and giving him the free promotion "PROMOTION_GREAT_GENERAL". Awesome. So he should be able to thusly level up (but only through fighting), but I still need to know if I can create a series of promotions that can increase the power of the buff. The Chinese get a global modifier for their great generals, but that's a trait... I want him to take a promotion like General II and get a +30% buff to his troops instead of the usual +15%.
