How many great people can one city contain? Is it the 6 you can see or do they just add up and only show 6? Also if it is only 6, when you try and add the 7th does he remove the Great Person who was there the longest?

I'm almost sure that you can have as many as you get in a single city, but I wanna get some posts just for confirmation.

I am pretty confident it is infinite the amount of Great People you can have. It is just you probably won't get that many in the game. What do you mean by the six you can see?
