Hi all.

I've been playing Civ4 ever since it came out, and I've come to know the game quite well, so today I decided to try the 3 mods that come with Vanilla, namely Greek World, American Revolution, and Desert War. None of them are working for me. Here's what happens:

1. Load Mod.
2. Game restarts.
3. I select Single Player, Play a Scenario; I select the appropriate Scenario.
4. I choose my Civ, then click OK for all the other setting options.
5. The game loads, and as soon as the initial box appears ("Greek World. Welcome to 600BC" for example) Civ crashes to the Desktop.
6. The following box pops up:
Crash
ERROR
Failed to allocate video memory. Please try reducing your graphics
settings.
FILE:\source\main\Civilization4\SDKs\Gamebryo2_0CoreLibs\
NiDX9Redemer\NiDX9RedemedTextureData.cpp,
Line: 170
7. Upon clicking OK, a second box pops up:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
PROGRAM: ...raxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Civilization4.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual
way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Ok, so it does this for all 3 mods. I am able to load the HoF mod without any trouble at all. This is on Vanilla 1.74; I never tried playing these mods until today, so I do not know if the same error would have occured to me prior to the 1.74 patch.

So, anyone have any ideas?

P.S. Sorry I don't have any screenshots of the boxes. I figured anyone who knew how to fix this problem wouldn't need to see them to understand.
