lol, anyhoo, I downloaded the windows xp compatibility patch for alpha centauri, and when I started up the game and prepared to play, I found that I no longer can load my plutonian empire faction!

what do I need to do to be able to load it again? (BESIDES reinstalling from the cd again, lol)
