"Hack the Mac" Editor

Is there anyone out there capable (and willing) of "hacking" the OS X editor for OS systems?

If you mean what it sounds like (a hack making it run on OS 8-9) my understanding is that it would be fundamentally impossible to do so. It would have to be essentially a whole different application, so there would be absolutely no "quick fix" for it.
