Hello forum - I'm new here but I've been lurking for a few days. Anyone want a game against me? I'm not very good, so anyone I play could they point out any glaring errors after the game? Thanks:)

I don't mind whether I'm white or black, so just start if you want. I'm based in England, and I visit the forum several times a day.

sure
i'm playing 2 games now so i can be slow at posting replyes, but if you don't mind i can play
I am not good either so this may be a good game.
You can start if you want to

That's fine. I wanted a game on here because I tend to play my moves far too quickly over the board, so the slower nature of these type of games should force me to think more in general. I may as well start then, with:

1 e4 ...

1 e4 ...Nf6

1 e4 ...Nf6
2 e5 ...Ne4

1 e4 ...Nf6
2 e5 ...Ne4
3 d3 ...Nc5

No....... that is exactly my point
1 e4 ...Nf6
2 e5 ...Ne4
3 d3 ...Nc5
4 d4 ... Ne4

I think I know what's coming, and it looks very exciting, if not a little scary! How often have you played this opening?

1 e4 ...Nf6
2 e5 ...Ne4
3 d3 ...Nc5
4 d4 ... Ne4
5 f3 ...

1 e4 ...Nf6
2 e5 ...Ne4
3 d3 ...Nc5
4 d4 ... Ne4
5 f3 ...Ng5

I don't play this often becouse it is very easy for the opponent to mess me up, but you did everything perfictly:D

1 e4 ...Nf6
2 e5 ...Ne4
3 d3 ...Nc5
4 d4 ...Ne4
5 f3 ...Ng5
6 Bxg5

My first non-pawn move, and my first capture in the world of CivFanatics chess. I still get the feeling there's a great big trap waiting for me to fall into.

ooooooops....... Didn't see that..
May be I should think before I post next time:rolleyes:
