Hello all, long time lurker first time poster. Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great advice over the last year or so that my civ addiction has been active. Thanks to forum advice and war academy articles I recently finished my first emperor game that I can seriously consider a win with the Celts around 1485 A.D., conquest of course.

Finally decided to actually register an account and hope to see you guys around the forums! Happy civving!

Borkill--sounds like you and I are in similar shoes. I am nearing the end of my first emporer game, and while I've still made some mistakes, I wouldn't have come nearly this far without this site. Also, it's nice to have someone actually appreciate what a challenge an emporer win is, as opposed to having your spouse say "That's nice, honey, so does that mean you'll finally have time to fix the sink?"

I'm exactly where you two are: won my first emperor, on my second, wouldn't be near that far without CFC. It's truly a great site.
