Help about patches compatibility

I have the Spanish version of Civilization III. It is the 1.16f version. I want to update to the new 1.29f patch, but it is for the English version. That patch will work in my Spanish version? I can install it into my game?

No it won't work, Firaxis will post 1.29f patch for other languages soon. (in a few weeks or so I heard)
