Help me please I'm stuck and bored!

Please please can someone help me. I've loaded the new CV no patches but I don't like the new view and plus despite my best efforts the map just stays black but with a few bulidings on it. I have yet to see any land yet. Can someone tell me why and is it possible to change the view so that it looks like the older cv views?

If a map goes black, mainly mean that something is going goofy on your graphics card. Happend to me three times, bought one and it happend again in a week, just another bad card. This might not be it just what happend to me.

It happened to me too. I ran and buy a new video card, and it never happened again.
Look at recommanded configs.
