i need help! i've been playing civilization since the original, and i've finally found a game i could play forever. i'm the type of player who plays WAAAAAAY after i've won the game. when i'm playing a game i like i just keep on playing it forever. well, until i get bored with it.
ANYway, i've been playing a game as the chinese since the day i bought civ 3, and it's become my most favorite game to play ever. that includes all the games i played on the first 2 games. BUT today when i woke up i tried to load the game file and it gave me this error message:
DataIO operation System Error: CITY
and it wouldn't load the game.
i've restarted my computer like 4 times to see if that'd fix it, but it didn't. i don't know why suddenly i'm getting this error message. no one had touched the computer or played civ3 since i played that very same game file about a day earlier. why is this happening??? i can load and play all my other games, but my favorite (OF COURSE!!!) keeps giving me that error. does anybody know what this could be and how i could fix it??? thanks. *sigh*.
