Help on scenario

What I would like to do is create my own tech tree like the steam world scenario from G+K for my napoleanic era mod. Can someone help me with code or a tutorial on how to edit/rework tech tree for a specific scenario? Because I do not know where to start
 
I'd suggst you to start by examining the RemoveModernEras.xml in the "..\civilization v\Assets\DLC\Expansion\Scenarios\SteampunkScenario" folder
 
I understand how to code techs, but in the steam punk scenario there is still a future/atomic/information/modern era (not technologies, just the era itself) how would I prevent the player entering these eras OR what would be better is to make the industrial era replace all the final eras? (this is for a napoleanic war scenario where the techs unlock new specific units such as sakers or line infantry etc)
 
How do you enter those era if there is no tech in them ?
 
They did put techs in there, look at the scenario.
Do you think it would be best to do projects that grant one units instead?
 
ho, just remove them then. I misunderstood and thought you wanted to base your mod on the techs from the steam world scenario.

If you want to use normal civ5 techs stopping at specific eras, there are mod to do that on steam workshop already, or you can have a look at the others scenarios (from G&K or DLC)
