Help Please!

I am trying to figure out a way to revise unit upgrades. What I want to accomplish is in some cases to require two units to upgrade to a new unit. I really do not even know where to begin? Anyone have any suggestions?

Another question I have been trying to figure out is; how to make a building produce a spefic unit or # of units.

I would be greatly appriciative of any help and or suggestions. Thank you in advance.

On the first (multiple units required for upgrade), all I can say is that it will likely take some python work (or possibly even C).

As for having buildings produce units, that is definitely a Python thing. I'd suggest starting with http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=159897 for a bit of information along these lines.

Thank you, I was hoping you were not going to say python or C, but it seems that is the route for many of my ideas, so I will have to recruit or start learning.

As for the 2cd question about buildings spawning units, would it also require python work for the building to give a new tech instead of a unit?
