Could someone please help the lurkers (like me) and summarize what has been discussed about DG6 over the last few days?

a few entire constitutions were proposed, a poll is wrapping up on where to start constitution from(i think DG5 ruleset will win)

We have had several informal polls, including the one Black_hole referred to on where to start the constitution, one on which game version to use (C3C won handily), on mods and variants to use (no strong support for any mod or variant), and what would drive people away (strongest factor using vanilla again).

There are several current discussions, you can look at the thread list.

This summary focuses on the items I have participated in. This is because I remember them clearly not because of any intent of bias.

There was a proposal to give governors increased power by giving them an allocation of units in their territory under which they would have control. This led to a suggestion that in exchange the leaders would need to be given the ability to set a production quota on the governors. Neither idea got a lot of support.

The proposed constitutional starting point includes language which would allow the President to appoint DP's (with citizen approval) who are not otherwise elected leaders. The intent is to be more inclusive by facilitating Presidents who don't have C3C, but there is opposition to having non-elected DPs, even though an appointed VP could be in the CoC.

An additional article has been proposed which would require all officials to keep the people informed. This is in response to the C3C factor where not all citizens will be able to open the save. Discussion is ongoing in the "complete constitution proposal" thread.

actually there was very strong support for a 2 team demogame, this came in with only 3 less votes than regular C3C game
