HELP with a College PAPER on CIV!

I'm working on a college paper on the history of multimedia. I would like to include screenshots from civ and the intro scene. Unfortunately I no longer have a computer that can run original civ. Does anyone out there either know a site where I can download a copy of the intro sequence or can send me a copy? I was told its not a copyright violation because its not for commercial purposes and ok as long as I cite. Any help would be appreciated greatly!

P.S. no one in my class of 30 has heard of CIV or Sid Meier...I really want this clip to illustrate wonderful civ!

Well I think it's illegal to download even an intro sequence, whatever the purpose is. But if you want screenshots, you can find a bunch of Civ fans websites where you can find your screenshots. If you cannot find what you want, just leave me a PM and I'll gladly help you, ok?

And which version do you prefer, Civ for PC or for Mac? Mac version has better graphics...

I have taken literally thousands of screenshots of civ1, most of which were used so other graphics in them could be extracted

(see the ref charts... I have all the buildings, all the units, and the complete world map. I also have all the leader's pictures, for another thing I should be posting soon as I get off my *** .)

Just tell me what you want a shot of and you got it man.

Hmmm...well,seems the screenshots are already covered for ya.

But the other things ?

You're the only one in your class who knows Civ...okay,the others are probably spoilt by the modern 3D-games and stuff...

But they don't know who Sid is ???

What the !#@%$&^$ heck are they teaching those kids nowadays...

Tell me where this so-called educational facillity is,and there will be a guest-speaker over there in a short wile...his topics will be : Sid,Civ,and the return of some good old-fashioned education methods (kids,say hi to mr. belt,mr. kane and Corporeal Punnishment...heh...that ought to bring them up to speed with who Sid is...).
