Help with identifying Starforce

After reading threads in the civ4 forums, I've heard that certain games are protected by Straforce against cd pirating. I have installed one of the games protected by starforce. And supposedly it installs some drivers without your you noticing or allowing it which can results in bugs and system failures.

1-Is there a way to check my computer and see if the undesired driver has been installed on my computer?

2- Do any of you know a way to uninstall/delete it from a computer's hard drive? Apparently its not something that can be easily done....
