Help with Minor Race

I have only been playing for a few days. Love it so far although one thing is bothering me. In a recent game I had allied one of the minor races, later on I wanted to conquer them but there is no break alliance option like with the other races. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Sorry, I think there is no way to break it yourself or to declare war. The only way the alliance can be broken is if your ally is attacked and u dont come to their aid. (Just pay some mayor race to declare war on them and- presto- invade the minor before anyone else can).

The Galciv II Team ought to add a "declare war" button to the diplomacy window.

Hmmm... good point Selous, though imagine the situation: you take over a planet where none of the citizens understand you. You'd never get anything done!

Perhaps they are usesless, but that wouldn't stop me from CRUSHING THEM ALL! Ahahahhaha, the streets will run red, ahahah... ahh...
