Warlord
Hi,
I tried to do some searching on NexusMods and here, but I couldn't really find a mod that decreases Warmonger penalty points in the way I want. I still haven't made a Civ 6 mod myself, so I was hoping there'd be people here that can at least point me in the right direction.
I've been looking through some modifiers in the XML files, but I didn't really find anything that would lead me to believe is the following possible:
1. Can I reduce, say, by 75%, WM penalty points if I sign a peace treaty in which the AI lost and ceded city or cities to me in a war that they have started and I was defending?
2. Can I reduce by 25% WM penalty points if I sign a peace treaty in which the AI lost but did not cede city or cities to me in a war that they have started and I was defending?
As I see it, the warmongering penalty points for other civs are too harsh, but I would not necessarily change much else, but I think it's really bad if you are penalised for a war you have not started AND you have taken a city or two, and then signed peace where the aggressor ceded those cities to you.
The only other thing I might be thinking about is giving casus belli in the modern eras if the AI breaks a clear promise not to spy on me.
All advice warmly appreciated.
Cheers
