Hi there all

Although I use civfanatics since civ2 for downloads and tips, this is the very fitrst time to post something Shame on me

Anyway, I installed Civ 4 , all is fine except from wonder movies.I can't see them!!!Any advice?Also please do you know is there an option to buy a unit in the city menu in order to produce it faster?Like we did in Civ 1 & 2?

Which videocard?

i haven't played civ 4 for a while, and i can't think of the system specs needed, but does it need media player 9 or 10, or quick time to play the videos...
just a thought...

I don't think so cause I read in thishttp://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=3531548&postcount=8 that they are some other format and I downloaded the player.
Haven't tried it yet though...

Bink from the Rad Game Tools is a format used by I guess 90% (wild guestimate) of the games out there. Works quite well, to be honest.

So no prerequisites for any media player at all.

Check if you can play them, if so, disable them for now in your ini and complain to Take 2 since it seems most likely it is a programming issue.

No, it could be a bad disk causing an install error but doubtful. This is a very common problem with people having both dvd & cd versions and many different hardware configs. If it isn't crashing your game I would just turn them off and download Rad Game Tools: http://www.radgametools.com/default.htm so you can watch them outside the game.

I think you have some nerve, coming in here and taking up people's time and effort to help you out with an illegal copy of the game when there are more deserving users that need help. I hope the mods throw the book at you, that sort of thing is not tolerated here, and rightly so.

Stop wasting our time and come back when you have bought a legitimate copy of the game.
